Regarding the Hogg family

To whom it may concern

We represent the Animal Liberation Front and all concerned citizens of England. This is a formal request for you to cease all associations with the Hogg Family and Windy Dale Eggs forthwith. Fail to do so and you will suffer the consequences. The Hogg family, as you well know, operate an intensive battery hen operation near Skipton-le-Beans, wilfully and callously inflicting severe long term suffering on thousands of chickens in their care every year. Such operations can no longer be tolerated.

As of receipt of this letter, we ask of you this: do not buy Windy Dale Eggs from any party, be they direct or through a convenience store or supermarket; do not allow any member of the Hogg Family to use your facilities; and do not associate with the Hogg family in any way, either commercially or socially.

This letter has been sent to all local suppliers, associates and facilities used and frequented by the Hogg family in and around Skipton-le-Beans including shops, pubs, sports clubs and banks. Our aim is simple: to shut the Hoggs out of their local community and leave them no option but to close their operation. Until they do, the campaign will continue.

Let it be known that if you fail to comply with our wishes and continue to deal with the Hoggs in any way, we will regard this as a statement of support for their heinous business and we will have no choice but to make a more emphatic statement of our own. There are spies in your midst and we will act swiftly and decisively towards any member of the community who disobeys our orders. Think of your families, your possessions and your community as a whole and decide which is more important – them, or the Hoggs.
